As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Site Location: Las Vegas, NV
• Set schedule: 32 to 40 work weeks.
• Day/Swing Mix: 0600 to 1400/1400 to 2200: Saturday to Tuesday.
• Competitive hourly wage of $26 to 28 / Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority, as you fulfill the critical need of Access Control.
• You are a great Team player!
• You excel in mentoring and coaching Security Officers to achieve maximum results.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You present a physical deterrent by performing Patrols, both on foot and by vehicle: Interior/Exterior.
• You can reflect high Ideals, by representing Garda World, as you work and communicate with members of our client, that reflect positively upon Garda World.
• You limit vagrancy, theft, vandalism, or threats for a safe experience.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED) in hand.
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
• You have 1 year of Supervisor experience as either an Armed Shift or Site Lead.
• You have 1 year of Supervisory experience in security overall, in a fast-paced Setting.
• Your qualifications are current.
• You have excellent coaching abilities that will allow you to grow the force and strengthen their reputation in a positive manner.
• You have a "Do what it takes" attitude and have a history of success.
• You have your own approved weapon/ammo/holster.
• You have an Armed PILB in hand.
• You can pass a Psych Evaluation Exam prior to an interview.
• You have a DL and clean driving record.
• You are able to walk, stand, or sit, and handle the weather throughout assigned shift.
• You must be over 21 years old.
• You are a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized.
