Qualifications and responsibilities for this Bridge Construction Estimator position include:- Minimum of 7 years of civil construction estimating experience, with at least 3 years focused on bridge projects (preferably TxDOT foot and car bridges).- Proficiency in HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel is required.- Lead estimating for all bridge division projects and supervise one junior estimator.- Interpret project plans, specifications, and compliance requirements (TxDOT, SBEDA, DBE).- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and develop complete cost estimates for public infrastructure projects.- Coordinate subcontractor bid packages and ensure scope coverage and regulatory compliance.- Collaborate with division managers and project teams on bid strategy and constructability.- Assist in refining internal SOPs and tools, contributing to continuous improvement in estimating processes.Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
