Imlay City-based Global Tier-2 automotive supplier of formed plastics through extrusion and injection molding is seeking Extrusion and Molding Operators to join their growing business. 1st and 2nd Shift available, $15.00 per hour. Currently working 12-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with some overtime opportunities as needed on Fridays. Candidates required to have some manufacturing experience, plastic injection molding preferred. Candidates should submit an up-to-date resume and application.

Job Description: Extrusion and Mold Operators are responsible for operating machinery, maintaining production lines, and inspecting finished products. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions:

1. Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
2. Perform quality checks on products throughout the manufacturing process.
3. Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
4. Package and label product.
5. Record scrapped materials as needed.
6. Maintain clean and organized work environment.
7. Adhere to all safety standards and protocols.
8. Team-oriented collaboration to meet production goals and deadlines.
9. Troubleshoot minor issues with machinery and report concerns to supervisors.
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Physical Demands:

1. Visual acuity and focus.
2. Attention to detail.
3. Ability to follow directions, read and understand basic blueprints and instructions.
4. Understand basic reading of measurement instruments.
5. Excellent attendance required.
6. Must be able to stand for 12-hour shift and lift up to 30 pounds.
