What You Will Do As the Creative Copywriter Learner, you will play a crucial role in writing copy and supporting the Creative Team, which is located remotely across multiple states. You'll work on diverse projects, including social content, email content, and digital content for Chomps.com and various retailers, as well as supporting campaign and product launches. You'll collaborate with the extended marketing team and learn about all phases of creative work and how copy impacts these processes. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience and skills to further your professional development in copywriting. Your role will offer a comprehensive understanding of a dynamic organization and exposure to various types of creative copy. You'll work closely with experienced professionals, receiving mentorship and guidance to help you excel and build a successful career in copywriting. Responsibilities Learn about the product portfolio and key product claims to ensure accurate communication by product. Write impactful copy for marketing channels including social media, email, digital content for Chomps.com, retailers, 360 campaigns, and product launches. Execute copy based on best practices for each medium, adapting your voice to meet changing requests across channels. Adhere to Brand Voice Guidelines while ensuring external messaging aligns with these standards. Manage workload effectively using Monday.com project management software and deliver results on time. What Will Make You Stand Out A portfolio showcasing a variety of work and versatility in writing. Writing samples demonstrating talent, range, and passion. Previous experience or coursework in copywriting, journalism, advertising, or marketing. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Team-oriented with collaborative skills. Adaptability in fast-paced environments. Proficiency with relevant software and tools. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning. Being Chicago-based is a bonus. Reports to : Associate, Copywriter Location : Remote Type : Part-Time, non-exempt Pay range: $20 - $25 per hour Weekly hours: 20 - 28 hours This is a 6-month temporary, part-time position with potential for extension or full-time conversion based on business needs.
