Seeking a Property Manager for 4 properties totaling 109 units in Hawthorne, CA. Includes a free 2-bedroom apartment. All properties are located within a few miles of each other. Compensation Includes:

  • $19.00-$21.00 per hour
  • Free 2-bedroom apartment valued at $2,300.00 per month
  • $300.00 auto allowance and $25.00 phone reimbursement
  • Total annual compensation package up to $77,805.00

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the monthly rent collection process and follow up on tenant delinquencies
  • Day-to-day operational management of all aspects of the property
  • Supervise property, staff, and external vendors
  • Daily communication with senior property management personnel and property owners.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Responsible for a positive and prompt response to requests from residents
  • Perform daily/weekly comprehensive property walk-throughs, paying particular attention to items on the Preventive Maintenance checklist.
  • Conduct unit inspections, including but not limited to move-in and move-out.
  • Develop and implement marketing ideas and strategies
  • Heavily focus on leasing current vacancies and upcoming available units.
  • Monitor the monthly financial budget
  • Ensure compliance with housing laws, rules, and regulations

Requirements Include:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in conventional multi-family management with 150+ units.
  • Knowledge of property accounting, such as Yardi
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • On-call and 1 weekend day required
  • A valid driver’s license and evidence of auto insurance will
  • A background, DMV, and Pre-Employment Physical will be conducted as part of the hiring process
