Available shifts are: part time nights, full time nights, and full time days. Unlock your potential!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA), you will be a trusted partner in keeping patients safe and cared for during vulnerable times. You will be part of a team that counts on you to help protect patients from harm, bring comfort in moments of stress, and support quality care across the hospital. You will make a real difference for patients and families every day while growing your skills and contributing to our shared mission of caring for and improving human lives.Your responsibilities will include:Keeping a close watch over patients at high risk for falls or self-harm, staying alert and ready to act while helping them feel secure and supportedHelping maintain a safe, clutter-free environment by following safety protocols, infection prevention practices, and keeping rooms stocked and organizedReporting any changes in patient behavior or condition promptly and partnering with the nursing care team to respond quicklyAssisting patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) like eating, bathing, grooming, and getting comfortable to promote dignity and comfortSupporting the nursing team with tasks such as transporting patients, delivering supplies, and helping the unit run smoothlyWhat qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start datePrior healthcare and/or direct patient care experience helpful.Trident Health is a 445-bed HCA Healthcare hospital system comprised of two acute care hospitals, Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center and three freestanding emergency departments, Brighton Park Emergency, Moncks Corner Medical Center and Centre Pointe Emergency.
