Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead our Community Integrated Services: Wilkerson Location. As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing the development and implementation of Person-Centered Plans for adults with special needs. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality services that align with our mission of promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with special abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assists Program Director in the management of human and physical resources of assigned program.
  • Provide input to decision-making processes regarding resource allocation and utilization.
  • Supervise, schedule, evaluate, and train staff members to ensure the delivery of exceptional services.
  • Work closely with CIS Team Leaders/Service Team Coordinators and staff to identify and develop integrated community activities that align with individual PCSP objectives.
  • Interface with Community Trainers/Group Supervisors to ensure adherence to PCSPs and address any challenges that arise.
  • Implement program assignments as directed by the Program Director.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of participant incidents.
  • Provide counseling and advocacy support to individuals with special abilities and staff members.
  • Report progress of individuals’ goals to the Program Director.
  • Assist with job training initiatives as needed.
  • Implement the Illness and Injury Prevention Program to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with organization, funder, and licensing standards for participant files.
  • Prepare and submit monthly billing for services in a timely manner.
  • Represent EXCEED at meetings and events within the community.
  • Maintain a safe and healthful work area environment for staff and individuals.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Hold a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • State minimum required automobile insurance.
  • Proficient in developing objectives, evaluating physical, academic, and psychological needs, and establishing rapport with funding sources, staff, and all other individuals.
  • Possess crisis intervention counseling skills.
  • Demonstrate direct knowledge of programs serving adults with special needs.
  • Proficient in English grammar and writing for documentation and report preparation.
  • Experience in behavioral management program design and implementation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Science or related field preferred.
  • Two (2) years of mid-level management experience required.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in a related field.

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Dexterity to handle and create necessary reports.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and maintain balance in busy areas.
  • Good vision and hearing for effective communication with staff, individuals with special needs, and partners.

Mental Abilities

  • Proficient in interpreting instructions and effectively communicating with staff.
  • Capable of developing and implementing programs and procedures based on instructions.
  • Skilled in producing reports, summaries, and utilizing organizational and time management methods.
  • Demonstrates the ability to meet deadlines and ensure timely submission of information.
  • Possesses strong math skills for financial and program reporting, purchases, and cash reconciliations.
  • Maintains professionalism and confidence in demeanor.

Schedule & Compensation

Position: Full-Time Exempt

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or as needed

(Shifts subject to change)

Salary Range: $68,806 - $72,259
