Overview We are seeking a Managerof Radiology Services , sometimes referred to as a Manager of Radiology or Radiology Manager. Managerof Radiology Services provides leadership, supervision and coordinates department activities, ensuring safety to both patients and staff. Bonus Options: up to $20,000 Employment Type: Full Time Shifts Available: Days Hours: 8-hour Location: Dallas Medical Center - Dallas, TX Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options Employer 401K options Tuition reimbursement options Life, disability, and other insurance options Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Manages all human resource functions of the department with include; overseeing training and ensures staff competencies, ensures safe staffing levels Develops and manages budget to meet department, organizational and patient safety goals and ensures regulatory compliance The Manager ensures ongoing monitoring of departmental indicators and PI activities, reports activities as directed The Manager responds to the needs of the department by performing radiology technician duties when needed Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: Associates Degree grduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology. Bachelors Degree preferred. One or more certifications in imaging modalities (Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound) Specialized training in CT or MRI preferred. Supervisory experience in all medical imaging functions Previous experience as a radiology technologist/Nuclear Medicine/Other modalities. Strong verbal and written skills. Current state licensed CRT, Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH and ARRT-R. Current Basic Life Support /BCLS (AHA) certification. Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards required.
