The REMOTE Contract Agent manages end-to-end procurement processes for major capital infrastructure projects, leading RFPs valued between $10 million and $20 million. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and cost efficiency while negotiating contract terms with vendors and contractors. The Contract Agent also monitors contract performance, maintains documentation, and provides market insights to support strategic sourcing decisions.

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Contract Agent to support the execution of high-value procurement activities within our Major Projects portfolio. This role will be responsible for leading and managing Request for Proposal (RFP) events ranging from $10 million to $20 million, with a focus on capital infrastructure projects such as substations, transmission lines, and related utility assets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end RFP processes for major capital projects, including drafting, issuing, evaluating, and awarding contracts.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and risk mitigation.
Develop and manage procurement strategies that support project goals, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors and contractors to ensure favorable outcomes for the utility.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with internal policies and external audit requirements.
Monitor contract performance and support resolution of disputes or claims.
Provide market intelligence and supplier insights to inform sourcing decisions.

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5-7 years of procurement or contract management experience in construction or utility projects.
Proven track record of managing RFPs valued between $10M-$20M.
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, legal, finance, and project management teams.
Proficiency in end-to-end RFP lifecycle management-from drafting to awarding
