As a Security Officer - Commercial Site - Part Time in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will also engage with people on-site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address questions and concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding appropriately to any emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any unusual circumstances.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in a timely and accurate manner as required by site procedures.
• Work closely with property management and building staff to support a secure environment within the commercial real estate location.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
