As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol in Ukiah, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular unarmed patrols throughout the facility, helping to deter security-related incidents, and remaining highly visible to provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will also respond promptly to requests for assistance, document incidents, and communicate clearly with both team members and the public. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support hospital protocols.
  • Complete detailed reports documenting security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency personnel as needed to address security-related concerns and/or incidents.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
