Job Title: Senior Electrical Estimator

Location: Orlando, FL

Salary: $85k - $120k DOE

Requirements: BS/BA in Engineering or Construction Management, 5+ years in Electrical Estimating in Construction, Accubid, or Blubeam

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring that all estimates are aligned with project specifications and client requirements. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical estimating processes and the ability to analyze project needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical cost estimates for a variety of projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for bids.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and assess project scope to ensure comprehensive estimates.
• Utilize estimating software such as Accubid and Bluebeam to streamline the estimating process.
• Perform risk assessments and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in bid preparation and submission, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
• Review and analyze bid documents, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate estimates.
• Monitor project costs and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 5+ years proven experience as an Electrical Estimator with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in Estimating software, specifically Accubid, or Bluebeam.
• Familiarity with NEC standards and construction management practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform cost analysis and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
