The Opportunity

The Senior Penetration Tester will hack into authorized customer systems, obtain a foothold, pivot to other relevant systems, and obtain important data for exfiltration. You will follow the Raxis methodology for testing, including ample screenshots with confidential data redacted, a narrative on how the attack was performed, and a detailed roadmap on how to resolve the security vulnerabilities used. We not only hack all the things, we also explain all the ways we did it and start our customers on a path of understanding that leads to better security practices.

We expect you to be proficient in hacking a wide range of targets, including web applications, mobile applications, file servers, or a large network of workstations. Expertise in physical social engineering and phishing techniques should also be right up your alley, but applicants must be willing to perform penetration testing as well.

Engagement time varies based on our customers' needs, but a typical engagement is 5 days. In that case, we expected you to complete testing within the first 4 days, leaving the last day for reporting.

We are looking for skilled pentesters, who are comfortable working with customers of varying technical skills. Script kiddies need not apply. This position combines a 1337 hacker with a professional personality. The OSCP certification is required to apply.

You will show our customers that the person who can (ethically) hack into their systems in ways they never imagined is the same person who is happy to help them understand what happened and what they can do to stop it from happening again.

While the Raxis Core Pentest Team is based in Atlanta, our team works remotely from all over the US, and this position may be located anywhere in the US as well.

We are hiring both full-time employees and full- or part-time contractors. You must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.
