Sr Electrical Power Design Engineer (CA PE ) Location Shafter, CA :

• Qualifications (Required):
• Senior level Electrical Power Design Engineer background, with BSEE and California PE license.
• Work location in Bakersfield, CA head office. (Not a remote position. Relocation assisted.)
• Minimum 10 years of electrical consulting design experience in industrial plant power distribution design environment.
• Minimum 5 years direct experience in providing design leadership and project engineering coordination to designers and drafters in preparing electrical design drawings, specifications, drawing packages, and construction level electrical drawings.
• Highly technical and experienced in providing technical leadership in industrial power distribution designs, and providing guidance to designers and drafters.
• Vast experience in developing best practice industrial plant electrical designs and specifications.
• Preferred Experience:
• In-plant electrical engineering support experience.
• Electrical studies and arc flash analysis experience (ETAP, SKM, etc.)
• Field troubleshooting experience.
• Able to manage electrical distribution design projects and resources to get project electrical design drawings done.
• Working knowledge of NEC Codes and regulations.

• :
• Provide leadership in electrical engineering and design of industrial power distribution in plants.
• Specify and size power distribution equipment, such as switchgears, transformers, MCCs, conductors / feeders, conduits, circuit breakers, fuses, etc.
• Where required, PE stamp seal drawings.
• Review incoming projects for Scope, Schedule and Budget for adequacy and completeness.
• Work with the Design Lead for the most efficient and best practice design approaches to show on design drawings and specifications.
• Provide leadership in developing company engineering and design standards.
• Review and comment on design drawings prior to issuing for permits and construction.

Pay: $74,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
