Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure Team. In this role you will support the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of servers, active directory, cloud infrastructure, and related technologies. This role involves working closely with other technology teams and other stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or someone early in their IT career looking to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for system-related matters or issues including server hardware, Active Directory, and virtualization\cloud platform.
• Install and upgrade server components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
• Monitor and respond to system\server alerts and assistance requests through ticketing systems (JIRA).
• Support user account management, access permissions, and group policy changes (Active Directory / Microsoft 365).
• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and participate in patch management process, antivirus updates, and system backups.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation for IT procedures and configurations.
• Collaborate with senior IT member on projects involving system upgrades, migrations, and\or deployments.
• Follow security best practices, SSL certificate rotations, and assist with compliance and auditing tasks as required.

Education and Work Experience:

• Two-Year undergraduate degree in Computer Science\Information Technology or equivalent experience required
• At least one Industry Standard Network Certifications such as
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
• Recent graduate or 1+ years of System Administration or Information System Management experience.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with endpoint management tools, antivirus platforms, and backup solutions is a plus.
• Familiarity with deploying applications on Linux and\or Windows platform, both on premise and in the cloud.
• Understanding of Identity Systems like LDAP and/or Active Directory.
• Understanding and knowledge with a scripting language (e.g. Python, PowerShell, etc.).
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure (preferably Microsoft Azure).
