Position: RN-PICU-Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-PICU-Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week contract in Sacramento, California — earn up to ($2719 - $2862 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

  • Stay updated on pediatric care advancements and best practices.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the PICU.

  • Assist in achieving departmental targets and quality metrics.

  • Educate families on care plans and health management for pediatric patients.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions to improve skills.

  • Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and communication.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California with pediatric nursing experience.

  • Strong knowledge of pediatric patient care protocols and best practices.

  • Experience in PICU or similar critical care environments preferred.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

  • Eagerness to engage in performance evaluations for personal growth.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Ability to monitor and assess patient conditions effectively.
