The Value Analysis Coordinator leads cost containment initiatives through facilitation of Value Analysis Committees and collaboration with Physician Groups, Supply Chain, and Network Leadership. They coordinate product standardization, new product assessments, and educational activities to maximize cost savings within a healthcare network. Additionally, they analyze and report on standardization efforts while supporting supply chain optimization and vendor management.

Insight Global is seeking a Value Analysis Coordinator for a lead health network company. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of interdepartmental cost containment programs relative to specific Value Analysis Committees (VAC) for the company, facilitating VAC and sub-committee meetings, and presenting results to the Network-wide Value Analysis Steering Committee. You will serve as a direct liaison to Physician Groups, Supply Chain, and Network Leadership for Network-wide product and vendor standardization, utilizing communication, in-service consultation, and education to ensure a seamless process in maximizing cost-saving opportunities.
- Facilitating service line VACs and coordinating activities. Activities include, but are not limited to, standardization/utilization projects and Network-wide new product/technology assessment within the specified service line.
- Coordinating the implementation of educational activities related to product utilization with appropriate departments and physicians.
- Utilizing the product selection guiding principles to evaluate all new product requests while leveraging appropriate tools and technology.
- Preparing value analysis reports and decision-making and reporting to interested stakeholders.
- Evaluating and prioritizing service line standardization and utilization opportunities using information obtained via the logistics information system, hospital financial and operational systems, and discussions with administrative leadership, physicians, and staff.
- Coordinating VA process with supply chain teams to optimize supply, equipment, and contractual arrangements, including implementing initiatives.
- Analyzing cost-saving ideas and implementing opportunities for standardization. Analyzing follow-up reports to determine the ongoing effectiveness of standardization/utilization efforts.
- Collaborating with supply chain teams to develop and implement financial monitoring related to product standardization and new product introduction.
- Identifying alternative products to backorders and/or recalls follows the process of obtaining appropriate clinical approval.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing/Value Analysis
- Fluency with the tenants of clinical value analysis.
- Experience in a health care setting. (Perioperative Services, Emergency Department, Cardiac Care, or Critical Care preferred)
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
- Excellent communication
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Master's degree preferred
- CMRP preferred
- Current Registered Nurse License
- Lawson and/or WorkDay ERP experience preferred
