Job Summary
Aptive Resources is seeking a highly qualified Vascular Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical care at the Oklahoma VA Medical Center. This role involves delivering clinical services, performing surgical procedures, and being available for on-call duties. The ideal candidate will deliver patient care that meets or exceeds the standards established by leading national organizations, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, American Board of Surgery, Joint Commission, and American Hospital Association.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Primary Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Services: Provide expert vascular care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of vascular conditions.
Surgical Services: Perform a full range of vascular surgical procedures with precision and adherence to best practices.
On-Call Duties: Be available for on-call coverage as required to address urgent and emergency vascular conditions.
Standards Compliance: Ensure that all patient care and surgical services are conducted in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety as defined by recognized national and professional organizations.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent degree from a school in the United States or Canada. The degree must have been accredited by one of the following:
Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association
Association of American Medical Colleges: Liaison Committee on Medical Education
Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association
An accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Certification: Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
Experience: Proven experience in providing comprehensive vascular surgical care and clinical services.
