Cobol Developer

Location:- Reston, VA (In person interview (5 Day onsite)

Salary:- 105K (Max) No H1B transfers please

Job Description:

Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in COBOL development.
IDMS Expertise: Strong knowledge of IDMS database systems, including data extraction techniques.
Data Conversion: Proven experience in converting EBCDIC data to ASCII format.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in COBOL programming.
Familiarity with JCL (Job Control Language) for batch job creation and execution.
Understanding of mainframe environments and tools.
Experience with file handling and data manipulation techniques.
Problem-Solving: Ability to debug and resolve complex issues in legacy systems.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and document processes effectively.
