About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its urban conservation and organizational leadership efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization, working closely with staff, board members, and community partners to define and implement a comprehensive strategic plan. This plan will encompass organizational growth, scientific research, public programs, external relations, and financial sustainability. The Executive Director will also be tasked with providing inspiring leadership to the team, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture, and ensuring that the organization's resources are effectively deployed to achieve its goals. Fundraising, external relations, and board management are key components of the role, as is the ability to communicate the organization's mission and impact to a wide range of audiences.
