Czinger Vehicles is redefining the future of automotive design and manufacturing. Founded in 2019, we're pioneering a new era of performance vehicles through revolutionary, proprietary technology that blends human-AI design with sustainable manufacturing. Our flagship 21C hypercar , celebrated as the world’s fastest production vehicle and for its record-setting runs at Goodwood Hill Climb, Circuit of the Americas, and Laguna Seca, showcases the innovation behind over 550 patents in AI-driven generative design, materials, and additive manufacturing. With our three core pillars of dominating performance, iconic design, and revolutionary technology, Czinger is at the intersection of deep technology, consumer products, and high-performance branding. We invite you to join our world-class talent in shaping the future of the automotive industry. Here, you'll be part of a groundbreaking journey that pushes the limits of performance, design, technology, and sustainability. Purpose The Global Supply Manager (GSM) is a highly cross-functional leader responsible for the sourcing, qualification, and ongoing management of a global supplier base supporting Czinger’s cutting-edge vehicles. This includes responsibility for: Commodity strategy development across mechanical, electrical, powertrain, body, interior, and high-performance composite systems Managing suppliers from early concept through low-volume production ramp Supporting critical milestones including design freeze, sourcing award, tooling kickoff, PPAP, and SOP Delivering cost, quality, and timing targets across Czinger’s programs The GSM serves as a critical interface between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and external suppliers—ensuring alignment of design, sourcing, and build execution in a complex and highly innovative manufacturing environment. The Role Global Commodity Ownership & Sourcing Strategy Define, document, and execute global commodity strategies for assigned categories (e.g., chassis, suspension, propulsion, electrical systems, interiors, lighting, carbon composites). Conduct global market research, supplier benchmarking, and should-cost modeling to support commercial decision-making. Maintain a long-term sourcing roadmap that accounts for cost, risk, technical readiness, and scalability. Supplier Selection, RFx, and Business Awards Develop and execute Request for Quotation (RFQ/RFP/RFI) processes aligned with engineering and program schedules. Manage supplier evaluation including technical capability audits, cost competitiveness, capacity assessments, and financial health. Lead commercial negotiations (pricing, payment terms, intellectual property, tooling amortization, delivery terms). Prepare sourcing recommendation packages for executive approval; own the business award process from initiation to PO issuance. Serve as the primary supplier interface from concept through SOP, ensuring development milestones are achieved on time. Design release alignment Tooling kickoff and progress reviews PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), First Article Inspection (FAI), and initial quality validations Coordinate closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to support prototype builds, DV/PV phases, and launch ramp-up. Commercial Management & Cost Control Track part cost targets by BOM line item and reconcile against actuals. Drive cost reduction initiatives through re-sourcing, VA/VE exercises, and supplier negotiations. Manage tooling and capex cost visibility across programs, including tracking amortization and reimbursement schedules. Risk Management & Supply Assurance Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including capacity constraints, sole-sourcing exposure, geopolitical/logistics risks, and supplier financial instability. Establish contingency plans, safety stock strategies, and second-source development as required. Maintain real-time visibility into critical part lead times, supplier build plans, and material readiness. Cross-Functional Collaboration Engineering: Collaborate to ensure sourcing decisions align with design intent, lead times, technical feasibility, and cost targets. Manufacturing & Production Planning: Align sourcing schedules with build plans and provide proactive supply risk mitigation. Quality Assurance: Support APQP and supplier quality management efforts to achieve launch readiness. Finance & Legal: Ensure adherence to procurement budgets, cost reporting accuracy, and alignment with corporate contracting policies. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical discipline; Master’s or MBA preferred. 5–10 years of experience in sourcing, supplier management, or supply chain operations—preferably in automotive, motorsports, aerospace, or EV/ hypercar programs. Proven track record managing complex BOMs and component categories across low- to mid-volume hardware programs . Deep knowledge of sourcing strategies for technical systems such as: Lightweight structures (aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber) Advanced chassis systems (control arms, dampers, bushings, subframes) High-performance powertrain components (ICE, hybrid, electric) Electrical/electronic components (harnesses, sensors, ECUs, lighting) Interiors and user-facing subsystems Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience structuring contracts, tooling agreements, and service-level requirements. Understanding of automotive and aerospace quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, AS9100) and NPI processes (PPAP, APQP). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and cost tracking tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 global suppliers across Europe, North America, and Asia. Familiarity with additive manufacturing, CNC, composite layup, or other high-performance manufacturing processes. Direct experience sourcing in hypercar , motorsports, or aerospace environments where design-performance integration is critical. Technical literacy in interpreting CAD drawings, GD&T, tolerancing, and material specs. Experience working in a startup or rapid-growth hardware environment with minimal structure and high urgency.
